Friday 11th November 2011 at the Altes Feuerwehrhaus Stuttgart-Heslach was the highlights  of the Closing Ceremony of the funding competition and training project „Auf die Plätze, Projektantrag und los!“(“On your marks, project application and go!”).

Ashanti Union of Ghana e.V. Stuttgart was one out of the 30 competitors which project concept was impressive to position itself among the selection of 20 Unions in Stuttgart by the Jury which consisted of one representative from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Community Foundation, the Integration Commissioner of the City of Stuttgart, the Commissioner for Voluntary commitment of the city of Stuttgart as well as from members of the International Committee.

The President of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, Dr. Manfred Schmidt and his team at the ceremony honored the commitment of the active associations with a promise of an invitation to Berlin and Nurnberg.

Finally Certificates were awarded to the 20 project winners by the Jury.

The executives present at the Ceremony were Mr. Adu Gyamfi Chairman, Mr. Hubert Agyemang General Secretary, Mr. Victor Agyekum Financial Secretary and Mr. and Mrs. James Boachie Protocol Officer, wish to carry out this reflection to all the members of Ashanti Union of Ghana e.V. Stuttgart, all well-wishers and interested ones in and around Stuttgart. Without your commitments and endeavors, Ashanti Union would not be at this level it finds itself now. This is just a step of a mile ahead of. Let us continue to adhere to our duties and responsibilities to lifting the Flag of Ashanti Union of Ghana e.V. Stuttgart high.
